29 Chimera Court, Late Saturday Night

After proving his, ah, superhuman capabilities to Bo, they retired from the bar to his place to test them out. In the bedroom, yes.

Which meant this was possibly the best night out that Guy had in... okay, way too long since he'd come back to Earth. Possibly even before that, but he sure as hell wasn't telling.

It was all fun and games until someone got hurt, though. Halfway into the good times, his ring blared in warning about something he wasn't really in the right frame of mind to pay attention to. That is until it glowed bright without even so much as his say so and his bedroom door was now missing. Along with his date.

"The fu--?"

All he got in response that was a weak groan as Bo tried to haul herself up the hallway wall...and discovered what a bad, bad idea that was. "......Motherfucker."

Yeah, this wasn't the best date he'd ever had.

Guy pushed himself up off the bed and onto the floor to make sure his goddamn ring hadn't broken someone. A stray thought along the way had him wearing dark green boxers.

"You believe me if I say that's never happened before?" Guy asked with a wince as he crouched down to see if she was hurt too bad.

Not too bad, no. Mostly her tailbone and her pride, with a few bruises and scratches along the way.

"So me asking what the hell that was would be a waste of time?" Bo grumbled in reply, sitting up a little slower and thus more successfully this time.

"Could ask the same thing," Guy muttered, offering her a hand. "Bad reaction to something."

A beat.

"The ring, not me. I was very into it."

DAMN IT, RING.

"You have a magic ring?" Bo took a look at his hand. "That likes to control your sex life?"

"Alien ring." It made perfect sense, okay? "Last time if did something like that, I was bein' attacked."

"Not in a good way."

The choice was laugh or cry, so Bo went with laugh, albeit a kind of whiny, ironic one. "Great. So your superpowers are allergic to mine."
